I sometimes feel like the luckiest person in the world, to have had such wonderful opportunities throughout my career—to create and collaborate with so many different people, in so many unique industries. The following projects are from my years spent as an art director, senior designer and illustrator in public relations and advertising.
In 2024, I was hired by Penguin Random House to illustrate a historical map for Alan Pell Crawford’s riveting book, This Fierce People. This novel tells the story of these missing three years, long ignored by historians, and of the fierce battles fought in the South that made up the central theater of military operations in the latter years of the Revolutionary War, upending the essential American myth that the War of Independence was fought primarily in the North.
